Grapes from a single vineyard over 70 years old. The grapes are selected and harvested by hand. The grapes are macerated and fermented at a controlled, cool temperature. Long subsequent maceration to extract tannins and colour. The wine is oak aged for 26 months in new Allier and Vosgos French oak barrels.
Colour: Deep crimson red.
Aroma: Intense with hints of cedar and nutmeg. There is a sensation of chocolate, coffee and fruit liqueur.
Taste: Full, strong and fills the mouth. Ripe fruits with strong, velvety tannins. Long lasting and persistent.
